Discover skijoring: you are on skis and pulled by a dog!
Learn about the history of skijoring and discover how this fascinating way of travelling with a dog has evolved into a sport.
Before your adventure, we will talk about your skiing experience and level. Together, we will choose the most suitable skis and discuss the type of terrain and route that will best suit you and our four-legged partner. This also allows us to arrange the right equipment for you in advance.
Meet your dog and learn the basics of skijoring, from equipment and communication to starting, stopping and moving safely on the trail. You will practise working together, build confidence and discover the unique connection between dog and skier as you learn to move as a team.
After an energetic and fun session, we will slow things down, warm up with a hot drink and enjoy a homemade treat together.
Ready to go a little further? Discover Paws & Pulka, our full-day adventure combining Nordic skiing, pulka and the teamwork of travelling with a dog.

All activities are adapted to the current weather, snow and trail conditions. For your safety and the best possible experience, the route or location may be changed when necessary.
The meeting point is confirmed before the activity and may vary depending on snow and weather conditions, somewhere around Hemavan or Tärnaby.
Dress for winter conditions and expect to spend the entire activity outdoors. We recommend warm, layered clothing, waterproof outer layers, warm gloves and a hat.
Small groups allow for a more personal experience and closer attention to safety and individual needs.
Activities are adapted to the group’s experience and physical ability. Please let us know about any relevant experience or limitations when booking.
For activities involving dogs, the welfare and safety of both the dogs and participants always come first.
