What is dog hiking? Dog hiking is a hiking activity where a dog wears a specially designed pulling harness and is attached to the hiker’s waist belt with an elastic line. The dog naturally helps pull you along the trail, creating a fun, active and rewarding team experience. No previous experience is required. Before setting off, you’ll receive an introduction to the equipment, safety guidelines and basic handling techniques. As we hike through the forests and mountains, you’ll learn about outdoor life, dog-powered activities and the natural environment around us. Along the way, we’ll take a break to enjoy a traditional Swedish outdoor fika.
